Vision:

Meeting the demand for animal meat from fish sources, alleviating poverty and increasing export earnings.

Mission:

To meet the nutritional needs of the country by increasing the sustainable production of fisheries and other aquatic resources including fish and shrimp and to increase export earnings and to achieve the desired development in the socio-economic sector of poor fishermen and fishermen in Bangladesh.
